Carpobrotus rossii - PIGFACE

This incredible little succulent is in the Aizoaceae family and has edible leaves and fruit. The leaves can be pickled or eaten raw. They can also be used to ease stings and burns, with a similar effect to aloe vera. The fruit can be eaten when it turns red, after the flowering.

Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania.
